Gumbi-Gumbi will assist everyone who asks for our support. If we are unable to provide appropriate support we will refer and provide information about more specialized services.

Specialized services:

Our services do not include an opioid treatment program (OTP) on-site. Speak to our in-take officer for possible arrangements and services available in Rockhampton.

We may ask for a police check before you apply.

 

Applications will be assessed after release date from prison and not before.

 

Gumbi-Gumbi will support you even if you have a criminal record. However, we are unable to accept clients who have a history of the following types of offences:

 

Assault of a serious nature

Assault or robbery involving a weapon of any description

Sexual or indecent assault

Arson

Murder or Manslaughter

Supplying a prohibited drug
